Deborah Komora is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Health and Psychiatry, bringing nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse to her advanced practice role. Her extensive nursing background includes neurosurgery, neurology, general surgery, and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she developed strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Clarion University. Her broad medical foundation, combined with advanced psychiatric training, allows her to provide comprehensive, holistic care addressing both physical and mental health needs.
Deborah served the community for five years at Southwestern Human Services, caring for individuals across the lifespan from age 5 through 65. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered in their treatment journey.
Outside of her professional life, Deborah has been married to her husband, Chris, for over 20 years and is a proud mother of two daughters. She enjoys watching college football, snuggling with her Labrador retriever Harley, spending quality time with her family, and watching the sunrise at the beach.
